So I got to meet Heather Alexander (and the rest of her band, Uffington Horse) in person at the Las Vegas Ren Faire. And she sang this really cool song, and I was really inspired to draw something! And I drew her a picture of the Black Unicorn (star of her song by the same name that inspired me). And I gave it to her, so I don't have a scan of it (sorry *bows). But when I went home with her album and actually *listened* to the song, I noticed that I hadn't gotten the description quite right-- he didn't have 'leather and wings' or 'hooves that burned through the ground' like he was supposed to. So.

I'm fixing it :}

The original looked *nothing* like this.. it was pretty much a badass looking unicorn head with an itty bitty unicorn body next to it (much like my 'Escape!' piece).
This-- well, this is so much cooler it makes my head spin. Work in progress, because I've been asked to post work in progress pictures more often.
His legs are weird right now, and this I know. Working on that.

Oh, and notice he doesn't *actually* have a horn at this time. Working on that, too. X}
